The position

AI literacy is heading into curricula the way digital literacy did — inevitably, but slowly.

Schools that wait for the department start from zero when the mandate lands. This is a complete program you can run next term — and the schools that start before the mandate are the ones the mandate gets modelled on.

The programme

Ten weeks. Ten working outputs. One showcase.

01
Meet the Machine
What AI does, where it fails. Students catch it being wrong — personally.
02
Talking to AI
Steering a model. Output: their own prompt pattern library.
03
When AI is Wrong
Hallucinations, bias, verification drills. The skill almost nobody teaches.
04
AI in Study
A personal study tool for the subject they struggle with.
05
AI + Creativity
Images, music, writing, authorship ethics. Creative piece + reflection.
06
AI + Real Problems
A solution brief for a problem the student chose themselves.
07
AI + Building, pt. 1
Scope and prototype a simple working tool.
08
AI + Building, pt. 2
Iterate, debug, user-test on classmates.
09
Prep & Polish
Pitch writing, demo rehearsal, Q&A handling.
10
Showcase
Parents and teachers invited. Student-led demos. The three minutes parents film.
Beyond the weekly packs

Everything a school needs to run it without us.

Assess

Assessment pack

Rubrics per output type, end-of-program options, mapped to DigTech outcomes + general capabilities.

IT

IT setup guide

Whitelist domains, account tiers, device requirements, the day-before connectivity check, paper fallbacks.

Parents

Parent comms pack

Intro letter, consent template, mid-program update, showcase invitation. Written, ready to send.

Leadership

Briefing deck

The one-pager + slides a HoD uses to sell the program internally. We've done the internal politics for you.

Three ways to run it

Licence, delivered, or both.

Option 01

Licence

POA per school / year

Your teachers run it with the full pack. Updates included as models change. Pairs with the Teaching AI staff PD.

Option 02

AIFL-delivered

POA per term

Our facilitators, your school, your devices. Teachers sit in — it doubles as PD. Best first cohort.

Option 03

Co-delivery

POA

Term one together, your teachers take over from term two with the licence. The natural on-ramp.

POA — pricing announced with the first cohort. Discovery call scopes the fit. Not ready for ten weeks? Most schools start with a two-hour student intensive or staff PD.

Judge the material first

Get the Week 1 pack. Then decide.

The complete Week 1 set — teacher run-sheet, slides, workbook, assessment rubric — so you can put the actual material in front of your team before a single call. Two taps tells us who we're writing for.

Straight answers

What principals and HoDs ask first.

Can we trial before committing?

Yes — grab the Week 1 pack above (teacher run-sheet, slides, workbook, rubric) and judge the material before deciding anything.

What if our teachers aren't confident with AI?

Every lesson is scripted with a teacher guide and prep video, so no facilitator needs prior AI depth. The AIFL-delivered option also doubles as PD.

Does it fit our existing curriculum hours?

It's built as a standalone 10-week block, commonly run in Digital Technologies or a HASS/elective slot — mapped to DigTech outcomes and general capabilities.

What about devices and IT policy?

The licence includes an IT setup guide — whitelist domains, account tiers, device requirements, and paper fallbacks if connectivity drops.

Fit check

Built for the school moving before the mandate.

This is for you if

  • You want a complete Years 7–12 program without building it from scratch
  • Your staff have varied AI confidence and need every lesson pre-planned
  • You'd rather move ahead of a department mandate than scramble when it lands
  • You want the option to have us deliver first term while your teachers learn alongside

Not for you if

  • You want individual teacher PD, not a whole-cohort curriculum — see AI for Teachers or Teaching AI
  • You need a custom-built program tied to a specific existing unit — this is a standalone 10-week course
  • You have no timeline to run it this year or next — we'll still take the call, no pressure
AI for High School

Thirty minutes. A scoped recommendation in 48 hours.

Year levels, cohort size, teacher capacity — one call and we'll tell you honestly whether licence, delivery, or co-delivery fits.
